Seline is a Licensed Master Social Worker who specializes in working with children ages 3 and up, adolescents, young adults, and families experiencing anxiety, emotional dysregulation, and behavioral challenges. She has particular experience supporting clients with anxiety, depression, ADHD, autism, and difficulties with impulse control, frustration tolerance, and big emotional reactions.
Seline believes that challenging behaviors and intense emotions are meaningful signals rather than problems to be “fixed.” Her work is grounded in a person-centered, trauma-informed, and emotion-focused approach that emphasizes safety, trust, and collaboration.
She creates a calm, supportive space where children and teens feel understood while being empowered to build emotional awareness, confidence, and regulation skills that help them feel more in control.
A core part of her work involves teaching calming and regulation strategies and strengthening the mind–body connection, helping clients recognize how emotions show up physically and learn practical ways to soothe their bodies and minds. Her therapeutic approach is warm, structured, and developmentally informed.
Seline integrates evidence-based practices including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), DBT-informed skills such as emotion regulation, distress tolerance, and mindfulness, and strengths-based interventions. Sessions often incorporate interactive activities, play, art, and body-based strategies to support engagement, emotional expression, and self-regulation.
She also partners closely with parents and caregivers, equipping them with tools, insight, and practical strategies to support progress at home, strengthen connection, and reduce stress within the family system.
Seline earned her Bachelor’s degree in Psychology and her Master of Social Work from Stony Brook University. She is passionate about helping children, teens, and families feel capable, connected, and confident as they navigate life’s challenges together.
