Christine Anderson

Christine is a Licensed Master Social Worker (LMSW) who graduated from undergrad at Oswego University with a Bachelor’s in Psychology and Public Justice. Christine went on to attend graduate school at Stony Brook University and graduated with her Master’s in Social Work. Christine has over 15 years working with individuals who suffer from anxiety disorders, depression, bipolar disorder, borderline personality disorder, and many other persistent mental health issues. Christine’s current work also involves helping Veterans who suffer from PTSD and stable housing issues.

Christine is a compassionate clinician, who utilizes active listening skills in order to hear and understand her clients’ needs. Christine uses a combination of Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), a Strengths-Based Approach, Mindfulness and Motivational Interviewing throughout sessions, and she always provides a warm, welcoming environment. Christine aims to empower clients to reach their full potential and she is able to build trusting relationships quickly.

Christine has experience working with children, adolescents and adults. She works with her clients to create achievable goals in order to promote success in obtaining and maintaining positive mental health. Christine believes that everyone has the potential to be the best version of themselves and works with each individual to tailor their treatment to their own particular needs.
