Allison Spruill

Allison Spruill is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) who earned her Master’s degree in Social Work from Stony Brook University. Allison holds an undergraduate degree in Psychology from SUNY Old Westbury and a Master’s Degree in Psychology from The City College of New York. Allison has experience providing both in-person and virtual therapeutic sessions, as well as past work experiences with individuals struggling with homelessness and food insecurity, families impacted by separation and substance abuse, and individuals struggling with mental illness.

Allison strives to create a safe space for individuals working towards identified goals. By working together, Allison assists individuals and families with identifying their strengths towards the achievement of their goals. By creating realistic goals, individuals have the ability to work towards positive life experiences.

Allison’s focus is children, adolescents, and adults with emotional and behavioral challenges. She utilizes a Cognitive Behavioral approach with a focus on a strengths-based and person-centered approach. In her work, Allison believes in empowering individuals to determine their goals and ultimately focuses on the healthy achievement of them.
