Kelly Kavanagh

Kelly Kavanagh is a licensed master social worker with extensive experience working with children, teens, and their parents. Kelly believes in the importance of focusing on a client’s positive attributes while providing a warm, safe, empathetic, and supportive space to work together. As your therapist, Kelly will help guide you toward the changes you wish to make in your life and will always meet you just where you are at. Her approach is individualized, strengths-based, and solution-focused. She is a strong advocate of meaningful self-care and loves to work with clients to find their peace and balance.

Kelly has been working in the mental health field with children and adults for over 10 years in a variety of capacities. She currently works as a school social worker. She has experience with a wide variety of issues including anxiety, depression, peer conflict, anger management, bullying, self-regulation, school refusal and challenging behaviors. In addition she has worked with pre-teens and adolescents with autism, social anxiety, ADHD and ODD. Kelly always works closely with parents to help them navigate these struggles and challenges. She believes trust and respect are the most important components to a therapeutic relationship while working to overcome obstacles.
