Alexa Russo-Sanchez

Alexa is a Licensed Master Social Worker who is passionate about supporting individuals and families to find peace during times of uncertainty or crisis. Whether you are currently experiencing hardships, have been impacted by trauma, or are looking for mental health maintenance, Alexa aims to support clients from all walks of life. She has several years of experience working with children, adolescents, and families in childcare, school-based, and counseling settings.

Alexa is passionate about serving children, teens, parents, families, and young adults. She uses a warm, person-centered, and strengths-based approach. She values humanizing the various struggles we all may encounter throughout life while highlighting clients’ unique strengths and abilities. Alexa uses a person-centered approach guided by the unique needs of the individuals she is working with. She also utilizes Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Motivational Interviewing, Mindfulness-Based, and Play Therapy approaches tailored to her clients’ unique needs and values. Alexa is also passionate about empowering parents to support their children through emotional and behavioral issues with evidence-based approaches. She collaborates with families to enhance parent’s understanding of their children and children’s understanding of their own experiences. In addition to her support, Alexa aims to provide a connection to community resources for all clients and families she works with.

Alexa values treating the whole person and not just the struggles they are facing.
