Seth Roman is a Licensed Master Social Worker (LMSW) who obtained his Bachelor’s degree in Sociology from Stony Brook University and his Master’s degree from Stony Brook University. During his master’s program, he focused on Families, Youth, and Transition to Adulthood. He enjoys working with children and adolescents, helping them develop the necessary tools to identify, process, and communicate their feelings. Seth aims to create a safe, nonjudgmental space for his clients to express themselves. His experience includes working with individuals with autism, ADHD, anxiety, and depression, and he has also worked with children and adolescents facing school-related challenges such as motivation, peer relationships, and behavioral issues.
Seth utilizes a strength-based and trauma-informed approach to build relationships with his clients. He employs various therapeutic interventions, including play therapy, motivational interviewing, mindfulness, and cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT). Seth genuinely believes that his clients have the resilience to utilize the skills and perspectives gained in therapy to navigate and overcome life’s challenges.
