Alejandro Yanez

Alejandro Yanez is a Licensed Master Social Worker (LMSW) with an undergraduate degree in psychology and a Master of Social Work from Stony Brook University. With three years of experience, Alejandro works with clients across all age groups—children, teens, adults, and the elderly—to enhance communication skills, boost self-esteem, and set healthy boundaries.

Alejandro is skilled in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Motivational Interviewing. Alejandro approaches therapy with a person-centered, strength-based perspective, incorporating solution-focused techniques. He is committed to creating a welcoming and supportive environment where clients feel empowered to take control of their progress. Alejandro’s practice fosters a positive and nurturing atmosphere, celebrating his clients’ achievements while providing guidance through life’s challenges. He has experience addressing a wide range of mental health concerns, including anxiety, depression, self-esteem issues, relationship complexities, life transitions, and suicidal ideation.
