Deanna Liu

Deanna Liu is a Licensed Mental Health Counselor who has a strong passion for working with children, adolescents, teenagers, and young adults. Deanna received her undergraduate degree in Psychology from Marywood University and her Masters in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from St. Bonaventure University.

Deanna believes that effective therapy can promote a renewed sense of self-worth and understanding through supported self-discovery. Her counseling style is non-judgmental, collaborative, caring, and inclusive. She is an active listener who seeks to provide an unbiased perspective in a confidential and safe environment. Deanna has worked with children, teenagers, and young adults with anxiety, depression, adjustment disorder, ADHD, and other mental health difficulties. She has experience working with youth who have challenges with self-esteem, communication, school avoidance, and positive social interaction.

Deanna provides individual counseling to create achievable goals that encompasses the individual, their support system, and their environment. Deanna has experience using Cognitive Behavioral Therapy and mindfulness to help clients build resilience and healthy coping skills.
