Sasha is a Creative Arts Therapist who earned her master’s degree from Hofstra University. She has also been certified as a Death Doula by the University of Vermont. Although important and neatly said, she’s aware that those two sentences may leave you wondering something like “what does that even mean?”
Above all, it means she already believes in you. Yup, you. She believes that you are creative and curious and capable. She believes that you have everything you need to heal and to grow, and she is dedicated to helping you prove that to yourself.
As an art therapist, Sasha uses creative materials and processes to promote wellness. As a death doula, she provides psychospiritual care for people with terminal illnesses, and supports anyone who finds themselves navigating the labyrinth of grief.
Sasha primarily refers to Jungian theory, while carefully integrating Mindfulness-Based Stress Reduction, Positive Psychology, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, and Internal Family Systems. She has experience serving diverse populations, and is committed to creating a safe, intersectional space for those in need of support. Sasha welcomes a range of clients including:
- Children & adolescents
- Adults recovering from adverse childhood experiences
- People coping with anxiety, depression, & mood disorders
- People in recovery from substance abuse & chemical dependency
- LGBTQ+ humans
If you find yourself feeling curious about what this all means for you, reach out and schedule a consultation. Sasha will be delighted to meet you!
