As a seasoned health professional with a passion for communication, Ruth brings a unique perspective to counseling children and adults. She has dual certifications as a licensed master social worker and speech-language therapist. Ruth believes that each of us has within them the tools to create balanced meaningful lives. She empowers people to develop self-care with compassion and skill. Health and wellness behaviors are blended to deepen connections bringing about the desired change.

Ruth has worked within the school and healthcare systems, private practice and as an Adjunct Clinical Supervisor at CUNY Lehman College teaching clinical communication skills at the graduate level. She works closely with individuals, families, school and healthcare personnel to create positive support systems for her clients. She is a certified yoga instructor with a 20-year yoga practice.
Ruth Love was awarded the degree of Licensed Master Social Worker through SUNY Stony Brook University. She received an MS with a Certificate of Clinical Competence from CUNY Hunter College in Speech-Language Pathology and a BS in Communication Science from SUNY Oneonta.
