Eric Bruno graduated with a Bachelor’s in Psychology from Florida International University in 2006. He completed his Master’s degree in Social Work in 2009 from Adelphi University.

Mr. Bruno began his career as a Social Worker with the Northport VA in 2009. He was instrumental in establishing the Suffolk County Veterans Court, which has been operational since February 7, 2011. The Suffolk County Veterans Court has long been considered a model for Veterans Courts around the nation. Mr. Bruno has been recognized by judicial and congressional figures from around the state for being an integral part of the success of the Suffolk County Veterans Court.
While providing psychotherapy, Mr. Bruno utilizes his education and experience in Clinical Meditation, Seeking Safety, Motivational Interviewing, Cognitive Processing Therapy and other trauma-related therapeutic techniques. Mr. Bruno has specialized in couples and family counseling and has much experience in group and individual counseling as well. Mr. Bruno’s clients consider him to be an attentive, caring and flexible therapist, who is always willing to meet the unique, individual needs of all who place their trust in his services.
