Jessica Ruotolo

Jessica Ruotolo is a Mental Health Counselor who is passionate about working with child, adolescent and adult clients on their journey in overcoming emotional, behavioral and addiction issues. She is energetic, positive, warm and empathetic. Jessica received her undergraduate degree in Psychology from St. Josephs College and her masters in mental health counseling from Long Island University.

Jessica has experience working as a counselor with people who are looking for support in dealing with common life stressors as well as those struggling with persistent and severe mental illness. Jessica also is a certified alcohol and substance abuse counselor and specializes in working with people with addiction.

Jessica utilizes empirically based interventions, such as motivational interviewing and cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT) when working with her clients. She believes that everyone is capable to living their life to the fullest. Jessica’s approach is best described as collaborative, strengths-based, and solution-focused. Her goal is to assist individuals with learning to understand the obstacles in their life and acquire skills to overcome them. Whether the struggles involve addiction, depression, anxiety, emotion regulation, life changes or interpersonal issues, Jessica’s goal is to offer a warm and empathetic environment where people feel comfortable discussing their thoughts and feelings to overcome their struggles.
